Anonymous: but would the finished product have provided as much fun as all that tinkering you’re doing with a manuscript?

Kristina, watching the extras will provide whole new insight to your favorite movies! Obviously, I highly recommend it.

I love this idea about watching extras. I have comfort movies I’ll put on if I’m just stressed out and I need something soothing where I already know how it ends (Hi, When Harry Met Sally…) I sometimes will watch the extras and supporting characters because I’ve watched certain movies so many times I can practically recite them. (If you know what I mean when I say “Oh and baby fish mouth is sweeping the nation” then you must practice this same habit with this same movie)

My thirty-years-and-still-running The Tenth Host has undergone all sorts of continental drift.

Maybe I should have taken up macrame or bricklaying. At least I’d have finished something by now.
