Or maybe our notions of ‘meaning’ are a little too narrow? I know I’ve always wanted such things to smack me between the eyes and be obvious. But I’ve learned (at least!} that the most powerful stuff of this kind is usually emergent. It sneaks up on you like sunrise, while you’re not watching (or at least too sleepy to notice! 🙂). Then, suddenly, you turn around and there it is.
