Jill - this is so you! I'm surprised you only have 3 journal tubs. Your Heart, Spirit & Soul are in those tubs. They need to be shared with your Loved Ones when you are ready.
Cheers to your Love and Passion for Writing as you live through Life!

In reply to Kristina Riggle.

Kristina, that's a great idea. Maybe I'll stick a copy in each tub.

I haven't burned my journals yet because I still occasionally go back to read them. Sometimes I need a firsthand account of something that happened in the past, or a situation pops up enough to make me feel I need to learn something from it. I think I'd take a real emotional hit if I got rid of my journals now. I've considered the "burn this" option as well. It may even be what ultimately happens.

Print this out and stash it in one of your plastic tubs, so if anyone ever DOES go through them, this "Author's Note" exists...

As for my own journals, my family is under a strict "burn these, do not read" instruction if I get hit by a truck. Now, why haven't I just discarded them myself, in that case? Good question...

Thank you! That last line was a relief to me. Up until it was written, I wasn't quite sure exactly how to describe what those journals mean in my world!

In reply to Sherry.

Sherry, it's interesting how my own relationship with my journals is changing. In the past, I might have laughed at the idea that anyone would treasure hearing my voice through a page. But my thinking is shifting as I get older, and despite my concerns about how the contents of my journals might be perceived, I'm glad that I didn't burn them years ago. But stay tuned ... this could change!
